Become a part of the Townsville folk festival family
Each year we call for enthusiastic, committed, volunteers to help us deliver the beast festival possible
Our festival runs on volunteer power and in return, our volunteers get the best possible festival experience, making friends along the way.
Our volunteers learn skills in a festival set up and pack down.
Each volunteer must dedicate at least 12 hours of their time to the festival. Most hours will be done in 4-hour blocks or as organised with your Volunteer Team Leader. As a volunteer, you will receive a full-season (4 nights) camping pass to the festival.
Volunteer Orientation: In early May a number of orientation sessions will be arranged. These will be confirmed following receipt of your signed contract. It is important that all volunteers complete this session.
