The Townsville Folk Festival is run by the Townsville Folk and Acoustic Music Club Inc., which is a group of local, hard-working, fun-loving volunteers. We endeavour to provide a broad range of stalls and opportunities for both festival-goers and festival vendors. Every attempt is made to provide a fair and equitable opportunity for all.
If you are a stall holder selling something unique, that is handcrafted, we provide you with an opportunity to interact with festival goers, and festival goers an opportunity to interact with your craft, we want you at our festival.
All profits raised from the festival go to supporting the Townsville Folk Club’s efforts to bring the festival back the next year, so thank you in advance for your contribution and support of the Townsville Folk Festival. festival
The Folk Club hopes that everyone will embrace the principles upon which the festival is run, including the family focus, environmental consciousness, and a fun and harmonious festival. (This means no war toys, minimizing wrapping and eco-friendly).
The Townsville Folk Festival is affiliated with Townsville Plastic Free to become a ZERO waste festival.
This year’s festival runs from Thursday night of the 6th of June until the 9th June. Stallholders can enter the site from 2pm Tuesday 4th June, no earlier. All stalls will need to be onsite by Thursday & with no vehicle movement by 2 pm. No later. You will need to be set up by Thursday evening when the festival precinct opens to the public.
